How to watermark images
- Select images and choose text or a logo. PNG or WebP works well for a transparent logo.
- Adjust position, size, opacity and margin. Switch the preview image to check both portrait and landscape photos.
- Apply the watermark to generate results at the original pixel dimensions. Download images individually or create a ZIP for multiple results.
Example settings
For a 1200 × 800 image, 8% text size starts at about 64px and a 3% margin is 24px. A 25% logo size targets a width of 300px, shrinking further if needed to fit the height and margins.
Which formats and transparent backgrounds are supported?
Images and logos can be PNG, JPG or WebP. Output can also be PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG and WebP can retain transparency; JPG uses a white background. Results are still images; animation is not preserved.
Are image quality and original metadata preserved?
Pixel dimensions stay the same, but images are re-encoded. JPG and WebP use a 92% quality setting; identical quality or smaller files are not guaranteed. Preserving metadata such as EXIF, GPS and color profiles is not supported.
Are images or logos uploaded?
The image and logo files are processed by this tool in your browser and are not uploaded. The site may make external requests for fonts, analytics and advertising. See the privacy policy for details.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 images, each at most 20 MiB and 16 million pixels. Input and output totals are each limited to 100 MiB. Device memory may prevent processing smaller files too. A visible watermark cannot fully prevent copying or removal.
