What does reordering PDF pages mean?
It means rearranging the pages inside a PDF into the order you want and saving them as a new PDF. It is useful when a scan came out in the wrong order, when you want to move a cover or table of contents to the front, or when you need to restructure the order of your material.
How to reorder PDF pages
- Add a PDF — drag and drop the PDF you want to rearrange, or click to open it. Each page appears as a thumbnail.
- Rearrange — drag the thumbnails or use the ◀ and ▶ buttons to move them into the order you want.
- Save — click "Save in New Order" and download the rearranged PDF.
How do I change the page order?
Drag a page thumbnail with the mouse and drop it where you want it, and the order changes. Each thumbnail also has ◀ and ▶ buttons that move it one slot forward or back, so you can rearrange comfortably even on a touch device where dragging is awkward.
Can I delete pages too?
This tool focuses on reordering. If you want to leave certain pages out, use the Delete PDF Pages tool. Keeping reordering and deletion separate makes each task simpler and clearer.
Are the original content and quality preserved?
Yes. The thumbnails on screen are only a preview; when you save, the tool copies the original pages as they are and places them in the new order. Text, fonts, and quality are therefore preserved without any loss, and the file size barely changes.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Reordering happens entirely inside your browser, so your PDF is never sent to or stored on a server. You can safely rearrange sensitive documents too. The processing library is downloaded just once on your first action and cached after that.
