Is it cropped at the original quality?
Yes. The image is scaled down for a comfortable on-screen view, but the actual crop is processed against the original pixels, so the selected area is saved at the original resolution. There is no quality loss regardless of the preview size.
What format is it saved in?
It keeps the original image's format. JPG saves as JPG, PNG saves as PNG with transparency preserved, and WebP saves as WebP, so you can cut out just the part you need without any format conversion.
Can I crop to a specific ratio (like 1:1)?
You drag the crop area freely, and by watching the pixel size (width × height) shown as you move it, you can match a square or any ratio you want. Use the corner handle to resize and grab the inside to reposition.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping happens entirely inside your browser, so images are never sent to or stored on a server. You can process even sensitive photos with peace of mind.
