PDF merging means joining several PDF files together page by page to create a single PDF. It is handy for gathering multiple documents into one file to store, share, or print, or for combining separately scanned pages into a single document.
How to merge PDFs
- Add files — drag and drop the PDFs you want to combine, or click to select them (multiple at once is fine).
- Adjust the order — use the ↑ and ↓ buttons in the list to arrange the order you want, and remove any files you don't need with ✕.
- Merge and download — click "Merge PDF", then download the combined file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely inside your browser, so your files are never sent to or stored on a server. You can safely combine sensitive documents such as contracts or statements too. The processing library is downloaded just once on your first merge and cached after that.
How is the page order decided?
The page order of the resulting PDF follows the top-to-bottom order shown in the file list. Use each file's ↑ and ↓ buttons to move it into the order you want, then merge. The page order within a single file is preserved as-is.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files I can merge?
The tool itself has no file-count limit, but merging uses your device's memory, so very large or numerous files may take some time to process. A few dozen ordinary documents merge without any trouble.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFs locked with an open password cannot be merged as-is and will be shown as an error. Please first make a copy with the password removed, then add it. Corrupted files are filtered out the same way.
