How are temperature conversions calculated?
Temperature isn't a simple multiple — it's converted with formulas. For example, Celsius to Fahrenheit is (°C × 9/5) + 32 and Celsius to Kelvin is °C + 273.15. That's why, unlike other units, multiplying by a ratio alone won't give the correct value.
Is file size based on 1000 or 1024?
This tool's file size conversion uses 1KB = 1024 bytes (binary). Storage manufacturers sometimes use 1KB = 1000 bytes (decimal), so the same capacity can show a different number depending on the notation.
