Create strong passwords of 8 to 64 characters, mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols, up to 20 at a time. Each one is generated inside your browser with the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure random number generator, and is never sent to or stored on a server.
Is this password generated securely?
This password is generated inside your browser using a cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto API). It's never sent to or stored on a server, so you can use it with confidence.
How to use the password generator
- Set the length — use the slider to choose any length between 8 and 64 characters.
- Choose character types — check which of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols to include.
- Set the count — enter how many passwords to generate at once (up to 20).
- Generate and copy — click "Generate Password", then grab it with the copy button.
What makes a good password?
The longer it is, and the more you mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols, the harder it is to guess. And don't reuse the same password across multiple sites — if one gets breached, the rest become vulnerable too.
How long should a password be?
We generally recommend at least 12 characters, and 16 or more is far safer. Length matters more to security than the variety of character types, so make it as long as the site allows.
Are the generated passwords stored?
No. Generated passwords are shown only on screen in your browser and are never stored or transmitted anywhere. They disappear when you refresh the page, so keep any password you actually use in a trusted password manager.
Do I have to include symbols?
The more character types you include, the more possible combinations there are, making the password harder to crack. That said, some sites don't allow certain symbols, so in those cases you can uncheck the box to create a password that fits the site's rules.
