What is PDF rotation?
PDF rotation turns the orientation of document pages clockwise or counter-clockwise so they sit the right way up. Use it to fix pages that a scanner saved sideways or that went in upside down, so they display and print correctly.
How to rotate a PDF
- Add a PDF — drag and drop the PDF you want to rotate, or click to select it.
- Choose angle and target — pick the rotation angle (Right 90°, 180°, or Left 90°) and choose all pages or specific pages.
- Rotate and download — click "Rotate PDF", then download the rotated PDF.
How do I choose the rotation angle?
Pick from Right 90°, 180°, or Left 90° (=270°). Fix a page lying on its right side with Left 90°, a page lying on its left side with Right 90°, and an upside-down page with 180°.
Can I rotate only specific pages?
Yes. Choose "Specific pages" and enter something like 1-3, 5 to rotate only those pages and leave the rest untouched. Use commas for several items and a hyphen for a continuous range; any value outside the document's page count is reported as an error.
Does rotating reduce the quality?
No. Rotation only changes the orientation information recorded on each page, so the page content is not re-encoded. The original quality, text, and fonts are kept exactly, and the file size barely changes.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Rotation happens entirely inside your browser, so your PDF is never sent to or stored on a server. You can safely rotate sensitive documents too. The processing library is downloaded just once on your first rotation and cached after that.
