Delete PDF Pages

Remove pages from a PDF by naming them as a range like 2, 5, 8-10, and download a new PDF containing only the pages you kept. Useful for stripping blank scan pages, notices or an unneeded cover — the file is edited in your browser and never uploaded.

Files never leave your device — they are processed right in your browser.
Use commas for several items and a hyphen for a range. e.g. 2, 5-7 (the pages you list are deleted and the rest are kept)

What is deleting PDF pages?

Deleting PDF pages means picking the pages you no longer need, removing them, and creating a new PDF that keeps only the remaining pages. It is handy for tidying up a document by stripping out blank pages left over from scanning, ad or notice pages, or an unnecessary cover or appendix.

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Add a PDF — drag and drop the PDF you want to edit, or click to open it. The total page count is shown.
  2. Enter the pages to delete — type the pages you want to drop, like 2, 5-7.
  3. Delete and download — click "Delete Pages", then download the tidied-up PDF.

How do I enter the pages to delete?

Use commas for several items and a hyphen for a continuous range. For example, 2, 5-7 means pages 2, 5, 6, and 7 are deleted. Reversed ranges are sorted automatically, and any value outside the document's page count is reported as an error.

How is deleting pages different from splitting?

Splitting pulls out only the pages you want to make a new document, while deleting removes the pages you specify and keeps everything else. Splitting is handy when you want to keep just a few pages; deleting is handy when you want to drop just a few.

Can I delete all of the pages?

No. A PDF must have at least one page, so you cannot delete every page at once. If your input would leave no pages remaining, an error is shown; in that case, reduce the pages you are deleting and try again.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Deletion happens entirely inside your browser, so your PDF is never sent to or stored on a server. You can safely edit sensitive documents too. The processing library is downloaded just once on your first deletion and cached after that.
